Are We Missing Something On How Luke Can Be Used?

I think most are are thinking if by chance T davis and Beason come back healthy how can we leverage the talent of 4 starting lbs..I think it will all depend on how athletic LUKE REALY IS.With his intial burst could you use him as an edge rusher DE? Could he replace the saftey on certain downs? I dont know but I have a feeling Rivera is looking at him as something in addition to a traditional 4-3 lb.

I think Kuechly will be a starting OLB on opening day and they'll use Davis as a situational pass rusher, to try and help preserve his knee for as long as possible.

I may be wrong but I dont think Rivera spent a top 10 pick on a OLB .I think they see much more versatility and you may even see him at DE in certain situations if Beason and davis are healthy

Someone please tell me tell me a reason other than he has never done it why on passing downs we could not use Luke as an edge rusher? Bruce Irvin is 6ft 3 245 lbs and does not have the burst off the line as Luke.

Got to be kidding me right?

Irving has one of the most explosive bursts and is one of the best pass rushers in the draft.

How about moving Davis back to safety like he played in college? Not going to happen but interesting to think about. Have Anderson, Beason and Kuechly at LB with Davis and Nakamura at safety.

There was a good reason they moved him to LB besides he gained 20 lbs to play LB.

Godfrey will start at FS and Nakumura will be SS.

Davis will be a "Joker" backer that moves around and plays zone/ blitzes situationally .
