I think we needed help on the Dline or CB, and it simply wasn't addressed. We picked up secondary needs, as opposed to primary. I understand BPA, I fully realize many teams do this, but at the same time, when there is a need, and there are relatively similiar rated players, you pick the need. It's that simple.

I know that DT's take more than a rookie season to contribute. I am just smart enough to let a guy develop than make a knee jerk decision.

Our DT's were two rookies thrown to the wolves last season. No ota's... Both starters rookies.

Anyone that we would have taken this year would have faired about the same as Fua and McClain did.

You're right, we're not. And we're not going to fix them all in the draft, or after cuts either. Every team has problems. We still need a #2 CB and pass rush help. By the end of the year, I bet there are other things we need to. It's a cycle, and it happens with every team...not just us.

We've improved ST, our OL, potential new starting safety help or at least depth, picked up a great LB prospect, found a pretty nice FB/Scat back type player, etc. Not to mention locking up some key guys and giving ourselves cap room. Not too bad IMO.

I don't trust him and I'm not feeling great about this upcoming season with him being the best we have to offer
