Bwood go jump for Joy somewhere else. You or anybody else aren't going to make me kiss Marty Hurney ass ever time he makes a pick.

I don't have to be a good little ROBOT for this FO. I don't have to like every move they make. I pay my PSL every year on time. So I can voice my concerns over moves I don't agree with.

The argument that a single position lost us games is just ridiculous. This is a game of inches. There are so many little things that go on during the game that could completely affect the outcome, you just can't put your finger on it.

I just can not wait to bump this thread someday.

So you don't think DT hurt us more then any other position last year?

About the DLINE. We have a starting NT returning. Our third round rookies are bigger, better, wiser. We found Shirley and Kearse. Neblett is improving every year. The DT position will improve if you leave it alone.

Hardy had a motorcycle accident and the lack of OTAs hurt his conditioning. Keiser had 4 sacks in 8 games of limited duty. Johnson had a back injury toward the end of the season. Applewhite re-signed and knows the system better. DEs will improve too.

We just drafted 2 starters who will be dominant. Sorry if your narrow-minded, quick-fix mentality was not adopted by the professionals who know needs and talent.

I'm sorry I forgot Ron Edwards is f'n Warren Sapp mixed with Mean Joe Green. He will solve all our problems. You're right what was I thinking?

The difference here is no matter what these guys do on the field they will always carry low positional value. No one is calling them poor players. They are being called poor picks.

You say that.....which is fine.

But you then will say someone like Luke wasn't the best football player on the board that fit one of our many needs......that is what I disagree with. I get some positions carry greater importance...but Carolina went BPA.

LB hurt us more. They were gashed more than our DTs on the ground if you look at the gaps the opposing RBs gashed us on.....they couldn't cover....forced the Ss to help them with there assignments and prevented us from running the JJ43

Nope. I think cornerback did.

We were missing our starter in Ron Edwards, and we were busy grooming 2 rookies with no offseason. Other guy's on the team showed promise too. The main problem was the lack of Beason and Davis. We needed leadership on the field, and we needed our stud's making the plays on defense we expect them to make.

Ron said a long time ago that they wouldn't go DT so I'm not sure why this comes as a surprise. We see what our D looks like with everyone healthy and with a full offseason under everyones belt, and if it remains to be an issue something will be done.

We aren't one player away from the superbowl. We have young players with a lot of promise and Ron Rivera will get this defense on track like he's done before.

No I don't think so. I think the Fact the DT couldn't hold up or get a pass rush put more pressure on the DE's and the whole back 7.

If this kid winds up being a starter, and there is a good posibility he will, it is a good pick. If you get starters out of your first two picks, you have done well.

He sux, Hurney sux, his value sux, you sux cuz you like him, the FO sux for picking him, this proves Hurney is an idiot, let Wharton and his 8mil walk then take this guy, we have plenty of depth at G, (even though this guy is a starter), the D sux, there was D talent there why take this guy,

That my friends is one huge amount of whine. You need some cheese with that?

I love people that jump to the worse case scenario. My mother-in-law is the same way. It is entertaining as all get out.

I love how a AVG. NT from KC has you guys thinking he is the end all to be all. I thought we saw enough of our defense giving up leads in the 2nd half but I guess we need to see more.

Don't think what? There are breakdowns of where opponents gained there rushing yards....and who is responsible for shutting that down.

And again pass rush in McD's scheme isn't suppose to come from what we were doing last year....injury at LB prevented the scheme from being used last year. Rivera addressed that early on that his attacking D couldn't be attempted bc of the injuries.

My favorite part of this whole thing is when I was told to stop crying and being a sissy because I've been rooting this guy on and saying that we should be stoked instead of raging.
