Hurney

Well, I'll say this. He's following the pattern of his best draft ever. Beason then Kalil. Kuechly then Silatolu.

Next up, a DE (CJ)? A DT would still fit the pattern, in my opinion. Don't know there'll be someone really worthwhile in the 4th (Mike Martin maybe?) Maybe a trade up...

Duh. Hurney would do it every year if you let him. Hurney's "BPA" board is secretly named "SPA"

Safest Player Available.

"i have never heard of this guy so hurney sux!"

Actually, most everyone has heard of this guy and it was still a poor selection. Please don't assume that the rest of us were ignorant about a certain prospect just because you were, its quite offensive.

I have been calling this pick for a long time now. It's obvious Hurney is definitely going BPA. Silatolu is a monster. He brings intensity, toughness, and power to the middle of our offensive line. If this kid reaches his potential he could be one of the best guards in the NFL. As it stands today, we can plug him in Day 1 and he is an improvement over Wharton. Great pick.

What time did you crack open your first beer today?

Many projected him as a first round talent. It is a need for us. Whats the problem?

My problem with this is it may be a need but it's close to being the ONLY need on offense.

My issue with it is we scored plenty of points last year to win games and it looks like hurney wants to score more when the issue is keeping the other team from scoreing so much.

My issue is the premise, at least as of now, our FO is contempt with Mcclain and Fua and Edwards who is not the future.

In the end there are more negatives than positives that I can think of, but who knows, the kid definetley looks nasty...against junior college players anyways. I wonder if an average SEC gaurd would look like this in junior college? It's just really hard to tell so I won't say either way but this is most certainley a raw project. Hope our coaches are getting to cocky. Pretty sure Hurney just got suprised. Maybe they can help Armanti too.
