I really want Devon Still. In my amateur youtube analysis, he's got very good technique (handwork, footwork, tackling), good size, good strength, elite burst off the snap, good competitive nature. Some have knocked his motor as hot and cold, obviously watching youtube isn't going to give you a good feel for that but the same thing is said about 85% of DT prospects and is often an ill-founded concern. I know in the youtube I've watched on him he seems to be giving 110%. If he can just stay healthy, he'll be a stud pass rusher DT.

Man, watching that Still video has got me hyped about the thought of taking him. Brockers was my pick for #9, but Still was in the discussion for a very long time. I'm calling it, Still's the pick tomorrow. If he is, it wipes away all my apprehension about taking a non-pass rusher LB with #9. Top 10 defense, here we come.

Still is a beast no doubt about it.

I love all 4 of those prospects.

My first choice is Jenkins (top 10 talent). Him and Gamble make for a really nice CB combo.

Then its a tie between Curry and Still

We're pick 8 this round...not 9, so cross your fingers and hope one of these guys fall. I see the Colts targetting Fleener with their second round pick since they released Clark.

Look at the other teams there.

33. Rams - they got their DT in Brockers in the first round so rule out Still. They probably need a WR more than anything so you could see a Stephen Hill or Reuben Randle.

34. Indy - said it...Fleener for some tools for Luck

35. Ravens - Sorry to say it...but Janoris Jenkins may go here, but it's a team that's had Oline issues as well. Who knows.

36. Denver - If Indy doesn't get him...Denver will. Fleener for Peyton, but probably defense otherwise. Maybe Still.

37. Cleveland - Big surprise with the Weeden pick, so expect them to get a WR here. Randle, Hill, Quick maybe, or maybe even a Sanu or Jeffrey.

38. Jacksonville - They got their big time WR. Now where do they go. It's a wild card and I wouldn't be surprised if you see another trade into this position to get one of the prospects left from above.

39. Rams again - No clue...fill in the gaps

40. Panthers - Left over DT or CB on the big board. Since there are Jenkins, Hayward, and Johnson...I could see us just biding time and getting whoever's there. Would love to see Still fall to us or Jenkins.

Fleener to Indy...nice. That's probably where he's going. The Rams made out like bandits...traded down twice and can still grab a number of top prospects. I expect Devon Still will be available, Jenkins will likely go to the Ravens. I would be satisfied if they grabbed an offensive tackle.

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
