Ok so 1st round is in the books. Kuechly wasnt the most popular pick but the dude is a stud.

Here is how I see / hope things play out the rest of the way.

1st Round: ILB / OLB Luke Kuechly 6'3 242

Would love this pick a lot more if we didnt have Beason. Regardless Kuechly is an absolute stud LB.

2nd round: DE Vinny Curry 6'3 266

Want to put Janoris Jenkins here but I just dont think our FO is willing to make that gamble. With that said we have to address our pass rush here. Out side of Johnson and Hardy we have nothing. Curry is one of the best pass rushers in the draft and will provide great depth to the DE position.

4th Round: WR Tommy Streeter 6'5 219

Elite size and speed. Will really stretch the field and provides for a nice redzone target. If his hands were slighter better he would be a 1st round pick without question.

5th Round: CB Chris Greenwood 6'1 193

Possibility he goes in the 4th round. A lot of upside. Fast with a insane vert. Still very raw though and needs some sound coaching. Like the potential down the line though.

6th Round: OT/OG Andrew Datko 6'6 315

Only reason he is not a top draft choice is due to injuries. Stays healthy and you have a steal late.

6th Round: OT/OG Lamar Holmes 6'5 323

Solid olineman. Created alot of running wholes at Southern Mississippi.

7th Round: P Drew Butler

Him or Shawn Powell will do. Both good punters.

1st: LB Luke Kuechly

2nd: DT Devon Still

4th: CB Chase Minnifield

5th: P Bryan Anger (I know some think this is high for a P, but I just have a feeling we're taking a P in the 5th)

6th: OT Andrew Datko

6th: WR Greg Childs

7th: DE Eric Latimore

Minnifield is to slow. No thanks.

Streeter is a lot better looking prospect in the 4th.

Why take P in the 5th when we can take a good P in the 7th?

I think Minnifield's "slowness" is over exaggerated. 40 time isn't the end-all-be-all of playing speed. Asomugha is also "slow". Not saying he'll be Aso, but I think he'll be a fine CB.

Not sold on Streeter.

I don't think we necessarily can take a good Punter in the 7th, I think everyone and their mother knows we're going to draft one and since we're going to draft one I'd like to get the best prospect in the draft. If it means using a 5th round pick, so be it. I guarantee if we use our 5th on a Punter, there's a better chance he is a starter and contributor than if we used it on another position. If we can hold out and get Butler instead of Anger, I wouldn't be angry (heh) but I at least want one of those two and I don't care where we spend the pick as long as it's after the 4th is done.

Minnifield will not be able to stay with elite speeders. He will need S help.

Is he an upgrade over Hogan? I dont think so.

How do you not like Streeter in the 4th? He is 6'5 with 4.3 - 4.4 speed! Nickname was Tommy "Touchdown" Streeter. Dude will completely stretch the field and is a nightmare matchup for CB's. With alittle improvement in his route running and hands you are looking at a Pro Bowl. I doubt he will even be there in the 4th. That kind of height and speed is rare.

Streeter is a big play threat and has to be accounted for on every snap.

Shane Powell is an excellent P as well. We can get one of the 3 in the 7th.
