The Lakers survived this series, but they have to be concerned with their inability to control the flow of the game. The Nuggets made that big run in the 3rd quarter going with a small lineup, playing Harrington and Faried inside and pushing the tempo. LA has 2 of the best big men in the NBA, but the Lakers are perfectly content to ignore the mismatches inside and pass around the perimeter. They went to the post slightly more tonight than in the rest of the series, but it seemed like offensive rebounds were the only way Gasol and Bynum got the ball regularly.

Denver is a solid defensive team, but the Lakers will undoubtedly face better ones in the playoffs. Yet the Nugs were still able to funnel the Lakers offense to guys like Artest and Blake (26 fga combined tonight). Lakers have to do a better job dictating what they want to do on offense- LA isnt winning a championship with Ron Artest taking 11 threes
