Patriots Contacted Panthers About #9 Pick

You can grab a comparable DT to Cox AND grab another first rounder.

BIG gap after the top 5....not a big gap 6ish to 32nd.

Absolutely agree.

I'd even say that you can grab a comparable DE to Coples in Vinny Curry or Nick Perry. All in all, you'll spend less money with those two picks, and take less of a chance than with Coples at 9.

And a lot of you said I was crazy when I mocked the panthers trading with the pats 2 a months ago...

The trade would likely be the 2 firsts and their late second for our 1st

I would poo bricks for 4 picks in the first two rounds!

I dont think the Pats are that dumb!

The Belicheats often make "inquiries" for trades on draft day. Its one of the many cheap ass things they do to try and get extra information that they can use to speculate on how the draft will play out.

I wouldn't think twice about that being cheap just because they are the only one with an IQ over 80 to assume this might be a decent idea.. ;)

Belechick does a great job stockpiling picks but has more busts than Hurney...and I dont thinks its close.

Now he gets good jems here and there(Mayo, Gronk, Hernandez, Mccourty) but all his DEs are average and they have a huge need in the secondary as well as a pass rush.

He cleaned house last season as Merriweather, Butler, Bodden, Wilhite, Brandon Tate, Taylor Price all failed to meet his expectations and are his draft picks.

Belichick is one of THE worst at drafting...

Bodden was a FA pick up I'm pretty sure from the ravens or browns. Not a BB pick.
