Panthers Tempted To Take Janoris Jenkins Per Peter King

Jenkins is the best corner in the draft, there is no argument about it. He plays like he is 6-3 in a 5-10 to 5-11 body frame. He has great reactions, probably some of the best I have seen in a long time. He is super fast with great agility which lets him play of the ball if need be. He is very physical and can play up on the receiver as well as make tackles on players that are a good four inches and 65 lbs. heavier than he is.

Jenkins is also a phenomenal special teams player and he has the same ability to return kicks and punts that Joe Adams has.

I can guarantee you that if Jenkins had Kirkpatrick's height that no one would care about his off the field issues because his potential is absolutely insane. This kid can be a top five corner in the NFL and to take a chance on him in the second is nothing.

I don't condone Jenkins personal life, but people make mistakes and it takes some people longer to change than others (see Josh Hamilton). Like Cam Newton last year, the reward heavily out grades the risk.

So if we can add defensive tackle; Fletcher Cox tonight and cornerback; Janoris Jenkins, I don't see anything to complain about because we just sure'd up two positions and also gained two new starters with the first two picks we have in the draft.

It's time to hop on the Janoris Jenkins bandwagon.

Of course, do you see the sig?

But really, I made a about a month ago on him. You definitely saw the shutdown ability while at Florida. He played with Haden and let's just say Haden was thrown at more. Not because he was bad but just because Janoris covered the other side. He shadows his WR like crazy.

So...Div II QB's didn't throw at a top 10 CB talent?

Strange.

His talent isn't what's in question.

I never said it was.

That was just a statement why are people overreacting to it. It's meant as a compliment.

I figured you liked him, just couldn't tell by your previous comments though.

You don't have your facts straight.

A. Janoris wasn't told this is your last chance. If you know anything about Urban was that he was very lenient and showed no discipline. His last chance was UNA and he abided by zero-tolerence policy.

B. Urban didn't kick him off, Muschamp did.

I had my facts straight which is why I hinted it was near impossible to get thrown off of the Gators. He was given a last chance at FL.....screwed up again.

Like I said, you can't fix stupid. Some have it written on their forehead.

That said, 2nd round I wouldn't be pissed
