Broncos Want To Trade Up

You keep posting this video, but have you even watched it? Most of the passes were 3-5 yards in the air, and the only good catches were two jumpballs.

This is the first time I have ever posted this video, I may have mentioned it before; but first time posting it.

Anyway

- He doesn't play tight

- Suspect tackling

- Got burned on the two deep passes

- Anything Else?

Also, they clearly weren't all three to five yard pass plays because you don't gain 13 receptions for 108 yards and two touchdowns are three to five yard pass plays...

Did you even read my post? I said 3-5 yards in the AIR. He was playing off, but that was the defensive call. He didn't get burnt on the deepballs, coverage was there. He got outjumped. Sorry, i saw the video earlier on the forum and assumed you posted it. He is overrated in the top 10, but he got there due to the potheads. He is easily a first round pick, and I think he will be a starter on the next level.

Rather have the pothead, just saying.

SC plays a 3-3-5 defense..the was a lot of open passes and qbs had an unusual amount out of time despite the next top 5 DE Clowney, and Ingram, who probally was in coverage. Gilmore does have uneven moments but he does enough to show he has elite skills.

He is ultra agressive and makes great breaks on the ball, can take plays to the house in an instant..is tall, agile...yep dont want that.

He needs to shut down eveyone man to man even though his scheme is mostly a zone...

did you hear about Dunta Robinson, Jonathan Joseph being true shut down guys who never got burned? Nope...they just make pro bowls and command high dollar as free agents. All gamecocks with inconsistant tape.

....if it was madden id take jenkins bc he wont get suspended for off field issues... But its not and chances are that Gilmore will be on the field to actually play.

Actually if it was Madden Id still take Gilmore..better size speed combo! Hollah!

Janoris plays bigger than Gilmore which is the funny thing and speed wise Jenkins has the edge. Plus Jenkins reaction times are second to none. We already suck in the second round to begin with, so why not take a chance on a guy that would be a top five pick if he wasn't a headcase.

Gilmore could really end up better than Claiborne. I watched both of them on armchair scout video (a.k.a. YouTube). I just don't see what all the fuss is about Claiborne. Why fans think that Claiborne is so much better than Gilmore is probably akin to singing praises to the flavor of the day. Truth be told, I think Jenkins is better than both of them.

Steve Logan says that Jenkins probably won't make it out the first round because there is always a degree of being a prostitute by NFL types when it comes to skilled guys with character issues. Logan says that at the end of the day they are concerned with keeping their jobs, and if NFL guys believe that a guy who is suspect off the field may be the difference between them keeping their job or not, then they are gonna draft the kid regardless. He said that college coaches are the same way. Everybody has their price.

We usually suck in the second because we do take chances there. Jarrett, Brown and Clausen are three players that dropped alot the few days before the draft..and we took the chance on them to pan out. almost all three are out of the league.

We do have Hogan..who was jenkins light with a knee injury.

I wouldnt hate it if we got Jenkins..and I think he is the superior talent in the draft..i think he is as good if not better than Claiborne. His interviews post combine show me he has not yet matured enough to handle the money and extra free time the NFL will offer. No doubt he is punking the wr on the other side when he is on the field. Best case off-field he is Antonio Cromartie...just a dumb tweeter...worst case he is Pac Man..with hopefully less violence..but he has that in his past as well.

Gilmore would be a reach at 9 but i do feel confident that he will be a Gamble, Jonathan Joseph quality cb...we do need to eventually replace Gamble soon as well..
