Samuel was one of the best CB's last year, he'll have no problem with Brandon Lafell or Steve Smith.

Nice move by Falcons. They are really mortgaging their future however, with all of the draft pics they have traded away.

Samuel got $20m over 3 years. Falcons overpaid a bit. Their situation reminds me of eagles a lot. Great secondary but no way to stop running attack. I think Dimitroff is going all out to win. They will be in cap hell in 1-2 years. Roddy White, Gonzales, and Turner all old and got 1-2 years left with Falcons. Dimitroff knows its now or never.

I doubt they gave up more than a 5th or 6th for him. Good move for them although I don't think it makes them contenders.

The Falcons are definitely in a window, but it's pretty small. Unless they stop floundering in the playoffs and start catching balls they'll be mediocre for a while.

Falcons are a good team, they are an elite quarterback away from a Super Bowl. There defensive line is suspect but I like their secondary and their linebackers aren't to shabby either.

There wide outs, tight ends, and running-backs, are just plain good lol.

I still think we can beat them out for the division though.

I think its really dumb move by the Falcons. Their biggest problem was lack of pass rush and not their secondary.
