Yet Another Trade Down Scenario

So Charles Davis and the talking heads at NFL.com seem to think Trent Richardson could fall to #9. I know, this is already in another thread but bear with me. IF Richardson fell to #9, I seriously believe the Panthers almost have no real choice but to trade down. That is far too much of a value player to pass up, and we don't have any room for him. What about teams that are hungry for a real impact RB? I could easily see a team like New England or Cleveland with one of their multiple 1st rounders, or the Giants all the way at the bottom of the 1st round wanting to trade up to #9 to pick up Richardson. Cleveland is obviously in need of a RB after shedding Hillis, the Giants might want to make a move to pick up Richardson after shedding Brandon Jacobs, and New England could use an upgrade from Green-Ellis and Richardson would not only upgrade their run game but their pass game as well. All three of these teams have the means and (usually) ambition to make a bold move like this.

If I were Hurney, I would sell Richardson to one of them in exchange for their 1st this Draft, seeing that they would be a low pick anyways, along with their first the following year. I would take no less than that and if any of those teams had real interest, they would likely take that price for an impact player like Richardson.

Thoughts? If he fell, do you think this would be the best course of action?

If we could get the Browns #21 this year and the Browns 1st round pick next year I would go apeshit with joy. Their pick next year will most likely be another top 10 pick so that value would end up amazing. And down at #21 we could probably still get a guy we really like, Brockers, Ingram, Coples, Jones could all possibly slip that far. Kirkpatrick, Jenkins, Worthy, Barron would also be solid picks in that range.
