Assuming that the following players are available at our pick in the 2nd round. For the sake of this exercise, lets assume that we took Fletcher Cox with our #9 Overall (most mock drafts have us taking him). Any players you don't see, they were most likely taken ahead of us.

I included the top 2 players at each position of need that I believe will be available when we pick in the 2nd round.

I chose Trumaine Johnson, even though you listed him at S, I see him as a big CB, much along the lines of Dre Kirkpatrick. He's physical, he's tough, he's also got some serious swag. One thing Trumaine Johnson loves to do is hit people. He seeks out the RB at the line of scrimmage, he'll deliver some hard knocks to a receiver. He's not a guy that's going to shy away from it.

Ok good. I heard Trumaine is a freak talent with off field issues. I wanted to see if there would be any kind of huddle consensus on this. Seems like the 1st round pick gets all the attention. Seems like it might be all over the place though. I would be happy if we took almost any of these guys.

Assuming we didnt take Coples in the first we gotta take 1 of the following

Perry - insanely quick and agile. could use more technique. at 33' his arms could be longer

Curry - explosive pass rusher. nice array of moves. very long arms at 35'. non stop motor.

Jones - nice prospect with the most upside

David - very nice talent in the 2nd

Perry to me seems more like an OLB in 34. Kendall Wright will probably go in top 20 picks, so he represents the best value

Nick Perry said he wants to play DE in the NFL, not OLB.. so I think a lot of 3-4 teams are taking him off their board. I think that's pretty closed minded of him.

Perry and Curry are both 6'3" 265-270lbs.. I'd be very happy with either one. I like Curry's motor more. But I think between the two, we'd probably take Perry.

Perry and Curry are pretty similar in stature.

Curry has a better motor, better technique and longer arms 35' compared to 33'

Perry is quicker and more athletic

Cant go wrong with either imo

Wright is the best player. Dude will be a pro-bowler. I picked him, but I don't think he will be there. Also don't think Perry will be there, but he would be my second choice.

The two I do think will be there are Curry and David. If we go Cox in the first I take David. If we go anything other than DL in the first I take Curry.
