Best De / Cb Combo For The Draft

Lol Jenkins doesn't look or have potential to be Revis. Maybe Asante.

He plays nothing like Asante. Asante likes to react and bait your for interceptions. Janoris is just straight up cover corner. His style of play is more like Revis than Asante.

Yea that comment was straight FAIL!

lol

Coming from the king of crap ass mock drafts...if he was so much better than a surefire top 5 pick then he'd go no less than top 15 no matter the character concerns...and by the way was talking about talent not style...not a player in the draft or in the game that has the coverage skills that Revis does. Revis is great early AND late in the route....most corners are one or the other!

Like I said dude, he is better than Clairborne who is going in the top 5-6. I dont think there is anyone that will try and claim / argue Claiborne having or being a better cover corner than Jenkins. So its obvious the reason he is projected mid 1st - 2nd round. Character issues.

And Jenkins is good early and late fyi

Taking Coples at 9 just doesnt seem the most optimal imo.

We can get arguably the best pure pass rusher in the draft in Vinny Curry in the second. Had like 20 sacks his last two years as Marshal. Posted almost 100 tackles as a dlinemen last year! Nice moves, combined with an endless motor and very long 35 inch arms! There is even a chance Nick Perry will be there in the second along with Chandler Jones.

We don't need a "pure pass rusher". We have that in Hardy. If we need a DE at all, it's a 3-down DE and that's what Coples figures to be. Coples makes plenty of sense for this team. He's not my top choice, but certainly a good pick if that's the direction we choose.

So i'm thinking the best thing to do is go CB in the first and DE in the 2nd. Trade back for a 3rd. Then go OLB in the 3rd.

Imagine this draft.

1st - Jenkins

2nd - Vinny Curry or Nick Perry or Chandler Jones

3rd - Bruce Irving or Mychal Kendricks

Come away with the best cover corner and arguably the 2 best pass rushers in the draft.

Didn't know we had a 3rd. Didn't we give our 3rd for Olsen to the bears. Oh yes we did. But anyway I don't sse is taking Jenkins at 9. No way.

We dont....yet.

That scenario was with a trade down. So it wouldnt be the 9th pick.

Me personally, id go ahead and take Jenkins at 9. Pro Bowl CB if he is able to handle his issues.
