If we traded with New England, who gives up their 1st rounders we could go with the following options:

CB: Jenkins

DE: Jones or Perry (depending on who is available)

and then in then 2nd:

LB: Zach Brown or Lavonte David

Get them to throw in their 3rd (it'd be pretty even trade with value chart):

LB: Terrell Manning (I think he goes higher than we've been thinking).

I don't think there is a CB worth the #9 pick, so I would like Jenkins later on if he's there. As for DE, I like Chandler Jones, but I am partial to Syracuse. At times he looks uncoordinated, but a beast nonetheless. He also isn't worth the #9 pick, so trading back to the late 1st and grabbing him would be my dream scenario

I would much rather have Gilmore as a CB if it's a mid 1st round pick versus Jenkins. Too much baggage....

It's still my opinion however that we don't need a CB as badly as other areas.

Asante is good in zone

Jenkins can lock down on a WR in man and straight blanket them not to mention he has great ball skills as well.

Thompson is primarily a DT but, I've seen some scouting reports saying he could play DE. Also, calm down with your raging Jenkins boner. Dude has 4 kids over 3 baby mamas and can't stop smoking weed. Might be a better cornerback than GIlmore but, definitely not a better player/teammate.

You are underestimating the risk involved with someone like Jenkins. He is better than Claiborne and Claiborne is going in the top 5.
