Im not sure of the difference between Crabtree and Blackmon...same size, speed and production in a no defense Big 12...hell even Roy Williams looked like Jerry Rice in the Big 12.

Couldnt one argure if Luck does not win two playoff games and break Cam Newton's yardage totals..that he should be a bust? im mean he is sooo hyped up he cannot meet expectations!

Even if he is above average but does not duplicate the Andy Dalton season what is the grade?

That is why teams draft so many every year, there is always a big need because they bust so often. It makes sense. If D linemen were successes most of the time and lasted for a long time, there wouldn't be as big a need for them, there would be a surplus, and the price to obtain one would go down. Because really good ones are rare, there seem to never be enough of them, and the demand is so high for a game changer, they command a premium price.

Meanwhile every draft everyone wants a DT or a DE despite the reality that you have a better chance they will be a bust than a boom. Linebackers on the other hand have a much better chance to boom than bust.

Yeah no doubt Luck will have to come in and literally BE Peyton Manning from day 1 because that's what Colts fans expect of him. Hell, this guy has been heavily hyped and advertised as the golden child of the quarterback position and consensus #1 pick for TWO years...that NEVER happens in the NFL.

U make a good point but the thing is everyone likes Andrew Luck while Cam is either a love him or hate him type. Even if luck has a poor rookie showing everyone will be hesitant to label him as a bust or disappointment.

Justen Blackmon and RG3. RG3 would be alright if he had a better coach and ownership in Was but he does not. Blackmon will be good but not set the world on fire. Thus people will call him a bust.
