I guess the big question is whether Armanti will be able to defend being the holder of the annual "training camp receiver who the local media assures us finally gets it and is on the verge of breaking out but as soon as the season starts they never see the field" award. Past winners include such illustrious names as Keary Colbert (multiple year winner) and Dewayne Jarrett (also a multiple year winner).

Be prepared to read this article around the July/August time frame. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Armanti has and always will be a project. Its not his fault the previous coaching staff didnt finish the project. Hes still a very skilled and athletic player. Hopefully chud can find a place for him in the offense. Personally, I think the damage has already been done by the former staff. Armanti may be better suited in a different enviroment, one thats not so overloaded at that position and will give him more opportunity to play.
