Lacking Technique does not mean you lack talent. Bell was very raw last year but it's to be expected by a late round pick.

Sorry buy there is a reason Otah was a first rounder and Bell went undrafted and no team brought him in for awhile......talent.

Bell wasn't a late round pick. He was laying carpet. He did good considering everything.... but reality was he was horrible. I wouldn't mind if he developed into depth. I like his story. He wouldn't of gotten most QBs destroyed last year

He was undrafted but it was not like he had been in the league for 10 years as you try to make it sound. He was raw but he held his own with some of the best. Get over yourself and realize that Bell will more than likely be starting at RT. Because I'm not sure if anyone at this point has faith in Oath.

Bell sucked. Even Otah can't play this year we shouldn't be forced to start Bell.

Bell got abused overall. If Cam wasn't a freak athlete our QB would have been murdered bc of Bells play.

I am not trying to a make it anything. He does lack talent. Bell even admitted he thought he wasn't going I get an opportunity with a team. I am fine with letting him work to be a backup at RG or something.

The only first rounders that I love that Hurney has selected have been Peppers, Gamble, and Beason. Cam could be added to this list as well.

DWill, and Stew are RB's and IMO those can be found much later in drafts, or UDFA.

Davis, is and was a bit of a WTF pick for me, although he turned into a good player, but certainly not a great one.

Otah has all but washed out of the league.

1) How is this Hurney's fault?

2) He was a starter since day one and got better each year.

He talent level is fine for the pros its you who suck at noticing the difference between Talent and Technique. Im sorry but your overall evaluation of most of our team is that they suck. You want to believe that then fine but don't try to pass off your opinion as fact. The fact is while Bell did not perform like a vet he did progress and get better and still has time to developer into a starter for us. If he does not then we wasted nothing on him so either way we come out ahead.

Anyone calling Davis anything but a great pick needs to pick a new team.
