Yasinkas Has Us Taking Kuechly

And another thing. Luke was also a great gang tackler. His solo tackles were impressive but nothing awesomely astronomical like some have been touting. His Ast Tackles pushed him over the edge.

Since you like to argue and I am not going to step in. A couple of points. Solos compared to who?? Assts compared to who? What exactly is the dividing line or the edge. Just asking without rebutting..........

i like how P55 thinks he's correcting me

i didn't say any i said all. i've already reviewed beason's combine results lol

You pointed out why my measurable comparison wasn't valid, I showed you where it was. Ragin Bull has to make commentary when his facts and arguments come up short.

So you're saying he is always around the ballcarrier, making plays? Sounds like a damn good linebacker to me.

There is a HUGE difference in the type of injuries they sustained.

Not saying that I agree with his pick. But, your reason for calling him a clown is uninformed and laughable.

Torn achilles is much tougher to come back from 100% than a torn tricep which is no big deal to come back from.

No, Yasinkas is a clown because he's a mediocre sports journalist. He tends to make implausible scenarios, crude answers, and is rather ambivalent on anything he reports. Reporting? He is not a great reporter/journalist/blogger. Hell, does he even report? He reposts poo from the front page of ESPN. Yasinkas literally links the reports of ESPN and follows them with small tidbits of his opinion. THAT--is laughable.

Also, yes there is a difference between a muscular and tendinous tear, but I assume Beason has passed a physical and will start this season. Weight bearing on the leg itself may be hard whereas the triceps do not include weight bearing; it's an obvious longer healing and rehabilitation process, but Beason looked fine in the video he posted.

I do. You didn't understand my post. The first round pics used to select them are sunk cost. They themselves are assets. Questionable ones. Not investing in something because you have before is a bad investment practice.

it is bad investment practice when there is an absolute talent drain at certain positions and you're trying to justify drafting what will be our third first round linebacker on the roster

also as far as cost is concerned, as big a price a first round pick is, it's only the tip of the iceberg as far as cost is concerned. we're still willing to invest misguided optimism and money in davis after all these years based on that initial investment. If he was a 4th round pick we would've said goodbye a long time ago

But again P55 I will except Kuechly if he was the pick as long as we don't move Beason. I only jumped on CRA because he just can't admit how good Cox is.

That assumes that Beason will be best in the middle. There is alot to suggest that if he is not 100%, moving him outside will help him because he will have to cover less ground and concentrate on one side of the field. When he gets back 100%, he can take over if he is the best option. That is why Kuechly is the best option. He can anchor the middle and swing outside if needed. What we want is a versatile player who can come in for either Davis or Beason or both if they have issues.

ah yes bench press, 40 yard dash (a healthy Kuechly vs Beason on a bad knee) and broad jump

is that what you wanted to discuss?

Many times it is our OLB's that cover the tight ends while the MLB covers the middle of the field. Not sure there is less running on the outside.
