Yasinkas Has Us Taking Kuechly

Rush LB > MLB > WLB

I have absolutely nothing against Kuechly but no way should he sniff the top 10.

Patrick Willis went at 11.....so your logic means SF shouldn't of reached.

All depends on scheme really. Not that simplistic IMO.

Bottom line is talent is talent. If you can grab a great football player....you should do it. No point grabbing lesser player to fill other needs.

Well since beason has 8 career interceptions in like 4 seasons and more sacks in 2009 at the pro level than keuchly had in his entire college career in the acc, lol is my rebuttal

So we are comparing Kuechly's college numbers to Beason's pro numbers? They don't even play the same number of games a season. What a joke.

Why not compare college numbers through 3 years. Oh because Beason's numbers don't compare at all.

Patrick Willis was a better prospect than Luke Kuechly.

Kuechly doesn't play as fast as he tests. Remember pre-combine, when everyone was just going by game footage, his main concern was speed and athleticism. He had one and only one claim to fame: number of tackles.

Beason will need to die before he loses his MLB spot. We'd be drafting a WLB #9 overall.

Not true, for some examples i gave luke the advantage, like when i compared beason's sacks in 2009 to 3 seasons of bc football luke played which was at least twice as many games and his sack total still didn't add up to beason's

That's your stupid opinion. But he is now being talked about going top 6 while every other DT has dropped. I've already crushed you once in this debate because you still haven't come up with anything that said he wouldn't be the best DT last year.

Fact remains if he was head and shoulders better.....he wouldn't of been crowned best DT in the draft 2 weeks prior to the draft.

Cox never dominated games like Fairley and Fairely had utter crap around him. Again, you cant claim Cox ever had those type games. Cox wouldn't of gone ahead of Fairley. All you brought to the arguement was Cox played an extra year and never reached the dominant play Fairley did when he left.

This is a weak draft at the top.....guys filling the 6-12 spots wouldn't go there in other drafts. Guys going in the top 10 this draft would be bottom of the first round in others.

If frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their ass so much. The if game is stupid and totally hypothetical.

Projecting luke's stats in the nfl is also built upon a bunch of hypotheticals

So really you're only in favor of dismissing hypotheticals as long as they don't favor your argument

Beason and Luke both played in the ACC....

Luke outperformed him in every aspect.

I mean, you have now resorted to comparing pro stats to college stats..... I won't argue any further if you are making those types of reaches

Yeah like last year when we brought in all these guys who filled in for Beason and Davis so well we didn't miss them at all.

Oh wait..............................

Why bring in an instant starter when we can bring in someone in later rounds who can sit the bench with all the other special teamers and backups since we won't need any starters. After all Davis will come back just fine it is only his third ACL surgery, And even though no linebacker has come back 100% their first year from achilles surgery. Our guys will be the first in the NFL to recover so quickly. We always have good luck with injuries..........

Oh wait...................................

The guys we brought in were from practice squads and cut from other teams... if you bring in those types of running backs they tend to suck also. Not to mention we lost 2 spectacular linebackers, not 2 average linebackers. What I'm saying is there are tons of James Anderson quality linebackers in the league. They aren't free, and they aren't so plentiful that every team has 3 of them, but it is way easier to land a starting quality linebacker than CB/DLineman.

Yea Davis is a huge huge huge question mark. He isn't reliable. So draft an OLB in the 2nd/4th to fill in.

No one is projecting his NFL stats.... only comparing to others players when they were coming out of school

Beason's smaller and has played bigger, stronger, faster, smarter and tougher competition

That is a real stupid Opinion because by the same reasoning Zac Brown was the best LB prospect going into the Combine now Kuechly rose to the top. Does that mean he's not the best LB prospect because he wasn't at the start of this either.
