CRA, I gotta give you props for sticking to your guns with Luke. I personally don't want us to draft him, but if we do, I'll both embrace the pick and pie every post you make so long as he's a starter. Cheers.

I don't expect people to agree with me.

But when people were having orgasms to Poe I called it garbage combine numbers and he would fall back to reality......I got bashed for that. I endorsed Luke then as a better choice than any DT. Some DTs could have a higher ceiling....I don't argue that. Luke will make us better quicker. That is important given how weak and then the overall D is

I still don't understand that if we are so worried about Davis' injury issues, why we don't take one of the top OLB prospects in rounds 2-4.

Yes I'm sure Kuechly can play OLB perfectly fine, but why waste a top ten pick for an OLB? If he played OLB at BC Kuechly would be projected to be a second rounder, simply because the MLB position has a much higher price tag.

Between the LB corps, secondary and Dline I have no idea how so many think the LBs is the area that needs the most work. Linebackers are kind of like running backs on defense too, finding guys who are capable, but not spectacular, just aren't that hard to find.

making plays despite not having a defense centered around him?

That isn't actually an answer.....and you didn't answer bc you don't have one.

Tackles don't count as plays. Luke had more past and behind the line of scrimmage.

Luke had more INTs, more sacks, FF , etc.

So how was Beason making more plays....when Luke made more in every aspect of the position?

So even his laughable TFL, Sacks, and FF are defended by throwing out players who are successful in the NFL that had worse college stats. Then NFL Busts with similar college stats and physical measurables are presented and they froth at the mouth and deny any correlation.
