Everette Brown Highlights.....

I guess thats a good and a bad thing. Prob alot of refs are gonna think he is off sides and throw the flag.
we've got a flag we can throw as well. i'm not worried about it. he's going to have plenty of opportunities. i will be more than happy to have him called offsides a few times if he is able to get all those TFLs and sacks and pressures.

if we are able to keep peppers they would have to be planning for both our DEs. wouldn't that be nice?

Surely though that will involve Pep moving back to LE? No way can Brown be playing at LE when we have a more power orientated De in Pep. How do you reckon he would take to moving back to LE?

Just imagine this pass rushing third down package...

Brown Johnson Brayton Peppers

Then we can always chuck in Hilee coming off the outside in a blitz

why would we move pep back to the left side when he prefers and is better on the right? brown can play either side. stick him on the left and keep pep on the right.

I think Brown is gonna be better than Orakpo, for one simple reason - Brown may be considered "undersized" at 6'2", but IMO I think it gives him more leverage combined with his quicks and strength.

Honestly, I didn't even know about Orakpo until the end of this last season and I watch quite a bit of college games. BTW, Brown was a BEAST on NCAA Football 09.

Brown's not big enough to play at LE and fight off blocks/set the edge.

Also, you want your best pass rusher at RE since most QB's throw right-handed which means the RE will be coming at them from their blind side.

I posted this a few days ago... gonna be awkward when Peppers finds out he has to move back to LE, LOL!

BTW, I love the fact that he was playing inside over the guard on a couple of those highlight plays.

I can't see those youtubes for some reason, but that rocks! Imagine if they can get Kemo to draw a doubleteam inside and Brown can line up @ DT instead of Lewis? Middle pressure kills QBs.

My mind has gone there as well...

On the up side though he is gonna cause alot of faults starts as well just like peppers has done for so long.

LOL we have had a player like that before. His name was Big Jenk. As many times he was across the line in a flash the other half he was off-sides and the other team had a 1st down. Beware of what you wish for.

I would feel if Peppers plays he will be our RE taking on the best T. This would allow our other DEs to take the slower T.
