Everette Brown Highlights.....

For a guy that Mike Mayock dubbed as a "one trick pony" all I can say is WOW! He beat guards, tackles, double teams, chips and everything. Damn.

Could Mathis, Freeney, Abraham, Cole, Woodley, or Harrison do anything other than rush the passer?? I mean if the guy gets 12, 13, 14 sacks a year for us then I'll take that one trick pony.

I. Can't. Wait. To. See. This. Man. Play. Period.

This might be the steal of the draft, I mean he has a complete skill set as far as pass rushing moves go and he seems able to play the run and zone coverage so I'm sitting here wondering why the hell he dropped so far. Hell, can you imagine him going against RIGHT TACKLES next year? I smell a championship. :)

Some of the best reaction time I've ever seen. Almost as if he's stealing the snap count...

i've been finding things like this about him that let me know why he is so good and happy that we have him...

In the middle of the season to late, it was all about attention to detail. Linemen start to give things away in their stances. Teams have a rhythm before they snap the ball, and the offensive tackle would lean in their stances to run, or step back to pass, and these were things that I was able to use with my initial burst off the ball, and allow me to be more disruptive in the game."

something else i forgot about....

from his first interview as a panther:

But the thing that really made my game was off the field in the film room, just my ability to be a student of the game, study the film, study my opponents and really understand the game of football (so that it) made me a step faster, a step quicker to the ball, a step quicker than my opponent on game day.

    • I want to throw in how much easier it is for a QB to develop and improve with a good oline.  Huge credit to the front office for spending the money on our two guards.  Cade Mays also had a 2nd really good game starting at center.  Love how he has developed and hope he's the real deal. Look at what Stroud is dealing with now in Houston after injuries and problems with their oline.  Strouds accuracy has been greatly affected as it seems like he doesn't trust his protection. Canales is doing a great job developing Bryce.  I think the QB whisperer might be for real. And obviously big props to Bryce.  First round pick that looks horrible in his first year.  Different coaches and systems.  Fans and media are calling him the biggest bust in NFL history and he looked like it in the first two games this year.  Gets benched.  Young man keep his cool and just continued to work and only worry about what he can control.  I hope things continue like this and we end up with a great success story. Bryce Young kept pounding.
    • Outside of Philly (who currently is #3 in pass defense) the rest of our remaining opponents are bottom 1/3 of the League in that regard.  Let's see what Bryce can do versus bad pass Ds.
