Your Personal Experience Meeting A Panther

One of the cooler experience's was when I was working at SouthPark mall when Julius Peppers was drafted. I look out the window and see him sitting on a chair by himself. So, I ask to take a break, my manager goes with me...and she says..."I hear you're a famous football player". (Blonde ditsy woman). He smiles real big. I roll my eyes and told him I'm a fan and he shook my hand with his banana hands. I asked why he was sitting in the middle of the mall, he said he was waiting on his girlfriend while she was in Victoria Secret.

Worked at at a club a while ago when Kris Jenkins hosted a party...he seemed like a male genitalia.

I've met many Panthers at events and autograph signings. DWill and Greg Hardy were the most friendly, making a point to interact with fans.

Not Panther related...ran into Mike Bibby when I worked at the club when I went out afterwards with some co-workers. One of the dumbasses I was with was wasted and tried to fight his crew. I broke them up. Bibby was getting really aggravated, and I said it's not worth it, let me get him out of here. One of his idiot entourages said I was just trying to become famous. (He looked like the green hatted guy w/ Snoop a Loop in Old School.) Anyway, Bibby said 'He's cool man', talking about me, then we all parted ways.

Pics or STFU!

Met Ricky Proehl and Mike Minter at an event on Fort Bragg.

I was so nervous to meet Mike that I was shaking. My family was visiting me at the base and we decided to go eat at Smokey Bones. On the way there, my mom said "I wonder if Mike Minter eats at places like Smokey Bones?" Sure enough there he was eating at Smokey Bones.

I've met a few players over the years but the best "interaction" I ever had was when my friends and I were on our way home on I-77 after a loss in 2004, and Sam Mills is slowly passing us in his BMW; the whole car became full of teenage girls seeing the Beatles for about 15 seconds as he waved at us.

Met Drew Carter at Dixie's a few years back. Kind of a prick to be honest. Of course, it was after the game where he had 144 yards (I think that was his career high) so I guess he thought he was on the path to stardom... whoops.

Met Jeff Mitchell several years back at Cajun Yarddog at the Arboretum. Super nice, and his wife was smoking hot.

Also met Otis Grisby (remember him) several years ago downtown. Super nice guy- really wished it would have worked out for him. Think he bounced around a few places but never really made it.

I met Steve Smith at a party and talked football with him for about an hour, after the party I was told that it wasn't Smith but the actor Tony Cox.

If I didn't have too google Tony Cox that would have been hilarious....still funny though. Easy to of been fooled....he can act

Played against Ryne Robinson (post Panthers) in flag football. Shadowed him one on one throughout the whole game and gave up 2 catches to him and nearly intercepted a pass he threw on a reverse.

Got to sit in the Panthers box with Steve Beuerlein during a 2010 pre-season game against the Titans. He was calling each play before they snapped and was not very impressed with Jimmy Clausen.

I told this before, But I meet The Big Cat himself out in San Diego. Mr R. got off the team bus and walked over to talk to me. It was my birthday (19th B-day) & I had been waiting for them to show up. The bus stopped right in front of me and he jumped out. He stood there for about 15-20 mins just talking to me. It is one memory I'll never forget. I still have the picture from that day around the house here somewhere too.

I met Mike Rucker at a New Hanover High School football game in Wilmington the year after he retired. He was promoting some charity he was involved with. Cool guy! Signed my jersey and posed for a picture. He was really accessible.

googoodan, kalil is not a prick. he's one of the most down to earth players i've met.i first met him when he was a rookie and he asked me if i played video games. he gave me his xbox live gamertag and we would play some games together. everytime i see him he gives me a solid handshake and is a genuine guy. i wait tables and i meet lots of players and he is one of the coolest.

I said he seemed like it. First impressions, you know. Could have been that he was in a hurry, I don't know.
