Your Personal Experience Meeting A Panther

DWill and Clausen are very down to earth and will talk to you.

I met Ryan Kalil, Geoff Hangarner, Lee Ziemba and another guy... maybe Zack Williams? They asked me how to get to the Urban Garden for a fundraiser. Kalil seems like a prick, but Ziemba and the other guy were very polite. Hangartner was too busy looking at women to talk.

I saw Travelle Wharton not too long ago when the circus was in town, before he got cut. I saw Rivera and his daughter leaving a Bobcats game.

I've never met JStew, but I used to live in Lacey, WA, where he went to high school. Almost every one there knows him. Apparently he has a thing for bigger women.

One of my old platoon sergeants while I was in the Army went to high school with Randy Moss. Apparently Moss had a testicle amputated and his nickname through high school was "One Nut Otis"

Never met any Panthers before, but I did meet Aaron Hernandez a few weeks before the 2010 draft. He went to high school with some kids I know and he came up to my college to hang with them at a party. Seemed like a pretty good guy, he wasn't getting too rowdy

googoodan, kalil is not a prick. he's one of the most down to earth players i've met.i first met him when he was a rookie and he asked me if i played video games. he gave me his xbox live gamertag and we would play some games together. everytime i see him he gives me a solid handshake and is a genuine guy. i wait tables and i meet lots of players and he is one of the coolest.

Between going out to practices and attending the "DoubleTrouble3428" events I've met more of these guys then I can count. The highlights are Beason and DeAngelo, both these guys love interacting with fans.

Funny story: for the first time in a very long time I asked Smitty to sign a 2007 pro-bowl # 89 jersey I had out at practice. When I asked, he stopped and gave me a look for a second... then he said "sure, what's your name?". I was so stunned it took me a second to respond, LOL, I was expecting him to tell me to f*ck off. He signed it: "To Dave: all the best, Steve Smith". Then he stood there and we talked for a few mins about the pro-bowl this year.

The funny thing about Smitty is if I were to approach him tomorrow and ask for another autograph, he would probably tell me to f*ck off, LOL

Played some extreme badminton once with Sam Mills. Beat him 45-1. I don't think he realized we were playing though. He just looked at me odd. Maybe it was bc we weren't on a badminton court and he had no racket....regardless I pwned him

Dowd YMCA, Kris Jenkins tells his friends he "has to do abs" before he can go watch some pickup basketball game there. He sits on the mat next to me and does about 8 or 10 and then goes and watches the game. He left his phone there so I brought it to him and he said thanks.

Some book or music store in one of the overly generic southern areas of town that I couldn't distinguish from another. Looking at books or music and sort of bump into Dan Morgan doing the same. We both apologize and keep looking at books or music.

Right after Beuerlein was released he was at the YMCA with a trainer. I said hello and he said Hey how's it going? or something like that.

Another YMCA meeting. One morning I hear a bunch of weights fall and hit the floor and look over to see that it's Steve Smith and he has put more plates on one side than he other and dropped everything. The downstairs weight room is fairly empty and he looks around embarrassed and we both sort of laugh and carry on. Some employee comes to ask for an autograph in the middle of his set of whatever, it sort of annoys him but says he will come to the office to do it when he is done. I believe he was there for some kind of kids camp or something, it was Summer.

The end.

Oh yeah, and Rhys Lloyd was kind of a prick at Phat Burrito

Tim Moribito answered the door to his house in a jock strap. Thought I was gonna get raped. Jason Peters Rottweilers about ate my ass. The most impressive man I've ever met was Ron Paul. Had the chance to sit down with him in his office for a length of time.
