I saw Stefan LeFors once

I said Hi

He said Hi

I made a mess

I have an autographed/game used jersey card of him I'll give you, and 50$ to burn it.

This is slightly related but I walked up to Catman once outside the stadium once and asked for a picture and he refused to talk to me. The dude smelled like homelessness

Everywhere I go I see Red Fox. Basketball, football, or whatever I always see that guy walking around. He calls in WFNZ a ton.

I met John Kasay in like 96 when that store opened near the Pineville-Mathews mall. It closed pretty quick but it was kind of like a Media Play.

I met Coach Fox and Rivera. Both were very polite but short. Rivera signs autographs at his radio show during the season.

Never met a Panther, but did see Kerry Collins at Tweetsie Railroad of all places. He sat at the next table over when we were having lunch. He was there with a couple and their child. It was a few years after he had left the Panthers. One guy did come up and get his autograph, but that was the only person I saw ask.

Other pros/celebs I met briefly were David Robinson, Kelly Tripucka, Jim Valvano and Dean Smith. I got their autographs at the Crosby Golf Tournament that used to be held at Bermuda Run in Clemmons.

Nothing exciting, that's for sure...

I met the Big Cat just a few months ago at Phillips Place Theater. He and his wife were coming out of Dragon Tattoo as my girlfriend and I were going in. We made small talk for a couple of minutes and he told me about the movie: "We didn't really get it." He and his wife were great, shook my hand, and were very courteous to a simpleton like myself.

Big cat is awesome...when you really think about it, he's a simpleton just like us. He tries to answer/read as many fan letters as possible and really likes to engage with fans unlike a lot of owners

my wife met mike rucker in the airport during the offseason and got his autograph for me.

The kicker? It was the chicago airport.

Worked out at the Y next to Smitty one time, but he had his headphones in so no one would talk to him.

You should've walked in front of him and showed your stuff. Then you should've left him your number. Another opportunity missed.
