Gilmore Overlooked By Board

I've heard about him for since he entered the SEC but still don't think he's worth a top 10 pick. He is the 4th CB on my board. So I don't think that's the problem. Not saying he his bad just think there are better options at not only the CB position but other positions.

I respect that. I think he will prove you wrong though.

They guy was never considered a high first round pick, if even a first round pick at all until the past weeks.

So out of the blue and due to the fact that the draft media has to have something new to report on he has shot up the draft guru charts.

Yeah, no thanks. He could be decent player but he's not a worthy of a first round pick and non of these guys who shoot up just before the draft are.

Gamble and Joseph were late first round picks.

Gilmore started as a 2nd round pick, and went down once the season started. Now he's back to first based on not playing. That's over analysis and silly.

He never went below a 2nd round pick, during the season, you wish you could make that argument.... You could argue he was said to be at the top of the second. I'm not even sure if that's true. This is just spouting things off things that are not true. I may agree that he is not exactly what you usually expect in the top 10 picks of the first, but with corners being a premium position, and this guy having and all the tools, AND GOOD GAME TAPE, he is worth it. You people saying he has bad game tape pull up some of his inconsistency. YES he has inconsistency.... He isn't Revis, he is a man in his 3rd year at CB. panther's have so many options so it's going to be who's the highest guy on their board no matter what position it may be. I tend to think that the playmaker positions like CB/WR/DE naturally get put higher on a team's draft board though.
