Coples To Miami?

they could probably just wait and take him at 12. if they're worried about the chiefs taking him they can just trade up to 10 with the bills.

don't see them trading with us in either scenario. they'll look to trade up with jacksonville to pass miami if they're worried about them taking him , or trade with the bills if they're worried about the chiefs.

Flynn???

They can stay at 12 if Miami passes on him... Why do they want him?

Sure is fun to talk about the possibilities and potential of Ryan Tannehill in Seattle.

GM John Schneider will give you that much.

But keeping that conversation going requires ignoring that pesky little thing known as reality.

"He's not going to be there," Schneider said of the Texas A&M quarterback. "I think he's going to get drafted pretty high."

Like the idea Seattle wouldn't shy away from picking a quarterback just because Flynn is here. Other scenarios less so like the guy in Jacksonville who told KJR Sports Radio he'd heard the Seahawks were interested in trading up to No. 7 so they could take him before Miami gets his hands on him.

The truth is there's no shortage of material on Tannehill whether it's his unusual progression up the depth chart in college at Texas A&M -- where he started as a receiver -- or the idea that he could use a year or two to ripen into an NFL starter.

But the way Schneider spoke Thursday, he doesn't expect Seattle to get a whiff of Tannehill in this draft, and while he didn't speculate on who would take him, it doesn't take any detective work to round up the likely suspects. Cleveland holds the fourth pick and Miami has both the eighth pick and Mike Sherman -- Tannehill's coach in college -- on its coaching staff.

Try to trade down or take Stephon Gilmore. The guy is 6'1'' 195 and ran a 4.4 forty. He doesn't have the hype that Claiborne had but I was listening to the scout that Zarzour always has on and he said that Gilmore isn't THAT far behind Claiborne. He doesn't have the freakish arms that Claiborne has but said he's still worth a top 10 pick in his opinion.

We're drafting 9th so unless Hurney is just a complete moron we'll get a good defender.

tannehill = clausen

100% agree.

One thing Tannehill has is the ability to move in the pocket. The guy is incredibly athletic. In the same vein as Aaron Rodgers. He can scramble, he can move, hell, he used to be a wide receiver.

Clausen has the ability to move to the right and throw the ball out of bounds.

Tannehill has been playing QB for a couple of years. He is very athletic and has a big arm. Clausen was groomed to be a QB his entire life. He is undersized with a weak arm and zero athleticism. In other words.

Tannehil>Clausen (not that that's saying much)

I call BS on all this. Aside from Luck and RG3 been locked at 1 and 2. Beyond that no one has any clue which team will take which player in the draft. All this is speculation right now until draft day. Like I said in the past. Aside from pick 1 and 2. Any player beyond that could be drafted any where at anytime. Even some of these guys been predicted to go in top 10 could drop below the top ten. It all depends on the teams needs and wants at that time in place. So right now it is a wait and see game at this point in time.
