Brocker's is not a safe pick. Let me get that out of the way, he's a project like Armanti to WR was a project. He needs to develop pass rush moves, add to his frame, increase his strength and improve his technique to even be a decent starter in the NFL. On top of that he lacks explosiveness and quickness.

Cox is just as strong as Brockers, just doesn't deal with doubles as well. He's a better pass rusher and is good against the run. He's the most likely of all the DT prospects to come in and start immediately.

I myself wanted Brocers the moment he came out. But as the draft came closer I think we'll go with Coples.

Still would love to see Brockers in a Panther uni though.

I agree. If a nice CB can fall to us take him but I think Cox is true starter material in less time and can make an impact faster than Brockers or Poe. This guy no doubt has all the physical tools needed to succeed. Doesn't mean it will turn out this way but I would be happy with this.

he is very raw, but I don't know if I would call him a project - certainly not if you are defining project as "Like Armanti Edwards."

I love watching all of the users on this board slowly realize why Fletcher Cox will be our pick. I had this dude going to us in March when people were giving him a 2nd round grade. Just a heads up for next years draft.
