I had trouble with the Barbarian in Act III, but found a couple of yellow axes and breezed through Act IV. Even Diablo was no sweat. I think tweaking the skills helped, too.

Which difficulty?

For Diablo I've found that I need to load up with the best equipment I have (I generally wear my MF stuff even if it means taking more damage, doing less damage, etc.) and using skills that give health regen and armor. Honestly, by doing these two things it made the Diablo fight from difficult and frustrating to so easy I didn't use any potions. This is only per the first two difficulties, however.

I finished with the Barbarian on Normal level. I'm doing a WD now. I'll take the barb through Nightmare after I've played some of the other characters.

Just started Inferno on my barb. Spent around 500k getting him geared for it (+all resist gear, etc).

I'm a little past skele king. It's hard for sure. Joined a public game, no sense in not doing that now that monster dmg doesn't increase just health.

Game is fun, over 70 hours in on my barb.

Yeah I'm on Act2. Inferno is pretty much broke. First mobs in act2, just regular mobs, one shotting. I don't have extreme gear but I'm pretty geared. 700+ resists on all, 9k armor, 9k dps, 850 dps 1h, 30+ block%, defensive abilities. It's pretty ridiculous. I guess I'm going to have to shelf my barb till the patch comes out that balances act2+.

It's becoming painfully obvious this game wasn't ready to be released. Between Inferno issues, bugs, poor itemization, legendaries not being good enough, no pvp, etc. I love the game, I think blizz will fix it, but a month in we should be able to play correctly.

It's a very good game. The fact they will patch it until its right is a big plus. I have a barb and I've been farming act 1 for gold. Not sure if I should upgrade now or wait for better legendaries. I'm only running 400 res with a 2h and I dominate act 1. Act 2 I have to port to town and heal constantly. I'm sitting at 20k dps 43k hp but I'm highly reliant on ignore pain to kill act 2 mobs.

Would anyone on here consider paying real cash for items? I have a buddy who piled on the MF and got 3 legendaries in 5 hours. Sold 2 for a combined $60 so he has already broken even on the game itself.

do you know which legendaries your friend sold? $60 seems like a lot considering most legendaries are shitty.

Agreed on legendaries needing a serious buff. One was a b/o on Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac - but its stats were quite elevated. That one went for ~45.00. I can't remember the other one but I will ask him later.

How much gold went for $90?
