Jason La Canfora Suggests That The Rams Could Select Fletcher Cox With #6 Pick

I dont think it really matters, I think carolina has decided they are trading down regardless who is there at #9. I believe they have targeted a player in the latter part of the first round. I believe they have set their whole draft up based on obtaining more picks. When you here them say repeatedly that its a very deep draft, translation, were gonna trade down.

I think you're wrong. They have 2 players at 9 and if they are both gone they will try to trade down.

yeah and I believe on the most recent Panthers Pulse on panthers.com Martey Hurney talked about the possibility of trading down. I'd be in favor of that.

1. Luck

2. RGIII

3. Kalil

4. Richardson

5. Claiborne

6. Cox

7. Blackmon

8. Coples

Let's say this happens AND we get no trade offers... then what?

Lets say that happens. Unless someone wants Tannehill, who will people covet enough to trade up?? Lets say a team wants to give us a third to move up 10 spots. Would we will be willing to go down to 20 to pick up the number 80 pick? I would think that Brockers, Ingram, Kuechly or Floyd would be worth taking at 9 versus dropping down and missing out on all of them.

If that happens,

I see

7. Blackmon

8. Tannehill

9. Ingram/Coples/Brockers and maybe even Floyd

we can only hope that 3 QB's go before our selection.

Coach really believes we're going to get better on defense just by our IR'd guys coming back and our

rookie DT's being in their second year. We could actually go in any direction with our first pick.

One thing I do know is he will not be selecting a project in the first 3-4 rounds.

They will all be expected to start or contribute heavily.
