Yeah i was fooled just like everybody was w E Brown. I had high hopes. Ive been watching highlights and game tape if the d line draftees and Ingrams' motor and tenacity seem to stand out. But yeah please taze me if ingram turns out to be a bust.

How does ingram size match up w johnson size, are they similar? Looking up now.

I didn't get that vibe at all. And judging from the team's actions of interviewing 7 WRs and bringing 5 in for a visit (which I believe is more than any other position) is more telling than anything they say at a press conference.

But they aren't going to take a WR just for the sake of taking a WR. It would have to be the right guy at the right pick. I think they are much more likely to take a WR if they trade back or back into Rd 1 and get additional picks or move back up into the 20's and are in a more advantageous position to draft a WR.

Just turned on Sirius. They had interviewed Hurney earlier and he said the deepest position in the draft was receiver.

why would they even hold a press conference today? what was the purpose? I mean I hate to say smoke screen but just a spurt of the moment conference to talk about the draft?

I may be wrong about this but I believe every team does it every year about this time.

Thoughts:

1. We'll be drafting someone who can generate pass rush. Meaning, it's probably down to Coples and Cox.

2. We may definitely try to trade back.

3. We're going to target at least one, maybe two, Olinemen.

4. We're going to get a punter in the last two rounds.

5. Expect a LB, but not for a while. Maybe in the 5th or 6th round.

6. Expect a CB with the 2nd round pick, unless we get more picks.

I agree with you. If you look at our current 71 players on the roster, you can tell we need to add a punter obviously. Then for depth purposes we sure could use another guard and linebacker. We also need a new starter at corner in the worst way. A pass rusher and a stud w.r also seem to be strong possibilities early based off of our predraft visits.

No need to add any late receivers, as we have depth there, so they are obviously thinking of one early.
