Thoughts:

1. We'll be drafting someone who can generate pass rush. Meaning, it's probably down to Coples and Cox.

2. We may definitely try to trade back.

3. We're going to target at least one, maybe two, Olinemen.

4. We're going to get a punter in the last two rounds.

5. Expect a LB, but not for a while. Maybe in the 5th or 6th round.

6. Expect a CB with the 2nd round pick, unless we get more picks.

So we're definitely not going WR.

I didn't get that vibe at all. And judging from the team's actions of interviewing 7 WRs and bringing 5 in for a visit (which I believe is more than any other position) is more telling than anything they say at a press conference.

But they aren't going to take a WR just for the sake of taking a WR. It would have to be the right guy at the right pick. I think they are much more likely to take a WR if they trade back or back into Rd 1 and get additional picks or move back up into the 20's and are in a more advantageous position to draft a WR.

That was my thought.I think of 2 that could come in and start meaning Floyd and Blackmon.

Said strengh of draft was OL WR and DL

I'm thinking of guys a little later in the first round like Stephen Hill, Alshon Jeffery, or Kendall Wright. I mean if Blackmon somehow fell to #9 we would be all over it, but I actually like some of the guys that will go in the latter part of round 1 and early round 2 even more than FLoyd or Blackmon.

Besides, KT will tell you that Charlotte would never support a Blackmon

PROTECT THE KING!!!! Now with that said i think we take a shot at Ingram. I think hes best immediate impact d line player in the draft.

I agree. If he is there at 9 and the Jets don't feel like giving us more picks then fug em and we can have him. Would be a much needed addition to our D.

I realize that every player is different, and that just because one guy failed doesn't mean another similar type player will fail.

But the FO might be a little concerned about drafting another undersized DE after the Everette Brown debacle.
