Janoris Jenkins Didn't Smoke At North Alabama

I highly doubt he is lying... I think it is more likely that Breer got fed false info. It makes little sense to lie at this point, considering his statements to the media could only hurt his stock with the NFL teams he talked to about that stuff.

Agreed. It's true too that the GM's can call up his coaches and ask. Man, why does this guy have to be such a freaking conundrum?

I just think there are so many conflicting reports and that's what makes it difficult to sort out what's right.

My personal view of Janoris, which I laid out in a thread about a month ago, is that he made poor decisions at UF and when he got to UNA he was humbled. This has been supported and is consistent with a lot of the reports out there. Under Meyer there was no discipline and that's why you saw so many arrests under his tenure. Players of Janoris's caliber were treated better than the backups and because of that they didn't have to worry so much about their actions off the field. With no harsh consequences, Janoris felt invincible. When Muschamp kicked him off the team he had a new perspective. Going to UNA humbled him and now he realizes that his actions off the field can have a huge effect on his career. Many reports state that he was tested and didn't fail any tests. That is a good sign as well as being honest and owning up to his mistakes.

He is a risky pick but I like to look at the optimistic view and a lot of stories can back up this view.
