Team Chemistry

Recommended Posts

He spoke more in the media last year than I have ever seen him do. I more meant with this situation, I haven't seen or heard a thing from him that would piss teammates off. He never publicly questioned his teammates like Jenkins did, only the organization/staff. That isn't going to piss his teammates off hence, it shouldn't affect chemistry. Also, I have never heard tell of Pep being out of shape and lazy practice wise which is something else that dogged Jenkins and might affect teammates' opinions of a guy.

I really think Kemo would step up to be the leader of the line. As far as team chemistry it depends on Peppers. Jenkins was questioning the defense his last year here saying they had no heart. I dont think Peppers will do that I think if he has to stay this year he will do his job. He doesnt seem like a person that would badmouth or pull the stuff Jenkins did. But I would expect the Panthers to move him next offseason and just take what they can for him.

do you think he was really calling pep out?i do!and there is nothing wrong with that if you see someone that you know is a beast, under perform because he doesn't have a pair.

Every team has to have a Team Leader; for example, Baltimore Ray Lewis! Carolina does need a leader on that team even if is or is'nt Peppers, Beason, or whoever. Someone added that Rucker was a team leader, and I agree he was a team leader. I think Beason is the guy who has to step up and be the leader or the guy that inspireshi teammates on Gameday! Peppers is a good Football player he is just not a leader although he did speak more last season then his ever done in the past!

I dont think Peppers will ever be a distraction but I would want him to want to be here cause talking plays off like he has done is exceptible. I think the dudes ego has shrunk since he has not even gotten a nibble in the off-season.

We haven't had any strong leaders along the defensive line since Rucker left, and while Brown may be that guy I don't think with Peppers there he'll be able to fulfill that role.

Well, for an actual example, Pep was called out by JR and Beason stepped up and was a leader.

Just because Pep is there doesn't mean Brown can't be a leader. I don't think it's reasonable to expect Pep and Brown to talk about who is the leader, that isn't going to happen. I think Pep is going to do his usual thing on the field, and if Brown is a leader at heart (either you are or aren't), then he will step into that role on his own. I don't think Pep is going to say "Hey, now I want to be a leader, so you can't."

and btw, our team's chemistry was one of the best in the league... I would expect to see the same next year.

Pepper's isn't a chemistry issue, its a business issue.

We are much better off with Pepper's, his teammates have said as much.

You guys are all over it when the team and FO supports Jake, well guess what, they support JP just as much.(and were obviously very serious when they said they didn't want to trade him)

I think peppers will be fine, he's not a pre-maddona. He just goes out on the field and does it job without being vocal.

If he's unhappy it will show in his performance, but it won't hurt team chemistry. I will be pissed off though if he's just moping around out there while we pay him 1 million per game.
