Bigger Problem: Interior Pass Rush Or Run Defense

Yeah man..McDermott is definitely friendly blitzing with the OLBs which is great once we have have some extras pieces in place. A guy like Bobby Wagner or that California ILB. But who I'm really enticed about considering just the top round playmakers: Ingram...he can definitely help out for a DE in our 4-3 and a OLB in our hybrid schemes.

If we take him, that's putting a lot of weight on further developing from the DTs we have minus Edwards. Its all priorities and I think we can get 3 potential starters with our first 3 picks in this draft to help us out. That's why its hard this year to really pick a guy...all of them help us bottom line. Its just priority and how much stock you put in certain positions and who they really want to grab and go make a move for. I'm liking the picture here regardless

If we had one need it would be much easier. At least the good news is that whoever we pick will help us this year. No matter how good the draft, we will still have holes to fill this year and likely next as well.

I think he need more guys to get after the QB but I think we can get that in the second with Jones/Curry/Perry. In run situations we can put in Kearse/Shirley next to Edwards. I have no faith in Fua or Mcclain. I honestly wouldn't mind Cox or brockers in the first the one of the three I mentioned in the second. We could suddenly have a pretty beasty Dline. But I also would love a CB or good WR in the second. So either way.

biggest misconception: you will "suddenly" have a beasty DLine..

dude, he put up 17 yards / catch.. he created separation and as a 2nd year receiver, that's pretty good. lol

I guess that is why NaNA was playing ahead of him the first half of the season.I am not saying LaFell is bad I just think he is average to below in Chuds scheme

are you saying Nannee starting over LaFell at the beginning of the season is your reasoning why LaFell isn't any good?

If you remember Rivera called Lafell out .....I am not trying to get in one of these stupid disagreements but the fact is we have spent more time scouting WRs than any other position. If your theory is true why would that be?I am not making the judgement on LaFell I am observing us spending alot of time with guys like Blackmon ,Floyd and others that are 1st round picks. I like LaFell ....you like to take things out of context and argue like a 15 year old girl.Where did I say he was not good?

LA was starting ahead of LaFell because of his knowledge of the offense. He started over LaFell because of this reason not because of talent. When LaFell caught on he moved ahead. 17 yrds per catch is awesome for a second year WR( as most take 3 years) learning a new play book...oh by the way, what WR had the best hands in the nfcs last year??? You guessed it...Brandon LaFell.

And as far a scouting all those WRs, we need someone to take over for Smitty in a few years not to replace LaFell.

I I heard Rivera correctly he was drafting a player that would start....that would mean LaFell or Smith.would be displaced.

here's the problem with this "stupid disagreement"...

you claim LaFell isn't good because Naanee was more familiar with the current system than ANY OTHER PLAYER and therefore saw playing time for that ONE simple reason. Confirmed by our coaching staff many times.

you claim LaFell isn't good because Rivera at one point in the very beginning wasn't exactly thrilled with a 2nd year player who was still grasping a brand new system..

you then ignore that the same coach who "dogged" LaFell at the beginning of the season, then proceeds to tell the entire nation that LaFell is ready for a breakout season next year..

you then ignore that LaFell did gain separation by a very clear 17 yards / catch, but say he isn't good because he can't get separation, despite putting up 36 catches and 600+ yards behind Naanee half the season..

and despite that key piece of information, you assume because a few receivers are brought in prior to the draft, that must mean LaFell sucks..

I'm not sure where the "stupid disagreement" comes in.. but clearly you are picking and choosing your point of references to this discussion...

below average is not good... damn, even average is not good...

and my post above clearly indicates who is arguing like a 15 year old girl.... I was trying to piece your ideas together that made sense, which clearly is impossible as I stated above, but then you want to throw out insults?

I guess that means I struck a nerve and you recognize those are in fact baseless opinions...

The funny thing about WRs is that you can put more than two on the field at a time....oooor maybe it means that we wont be taking one in the first.
