Dammit. I hate the Bucs so much. Well, I hate all of our division rivals, but they're working their way to the front seat this offseason, especially once they take MoClay.

On the brightside, MoClay and Tampa Bay rhyme with gay. I'm going into hiding now so Grant Hill won't lecture me.

They are definitely no where close to the front of the division. They are still in last. They really don't have that much talent on that team. Claiborne isn't going to make them that great. He will be burned all day by Steve Smith. They still have less talent than every other team in the division even after all of their moves. And they have a crappy college coach. I'm not scared of them

What he said plus I am not sold on their QB.

They have made some solid pick ups but integrating them is another story. As a FYI, Patrick Peterson got torched a lot last season and so will Claiborne in his 1st year.

the bucs have been an inconsistent mess for years. they've alternated between great and horrible so many times, often in the same season, that i've lost count. they suck until proven otherwise, just like us.

one offseason where they spend a ton of money doesn't mean they have a smart FO (interesting that this comes up in a thread where we're discussing the bucs shopping a recent first round draft selection) or good ownership.

I meant they are working their way towards the front seat of my hate train. Mainly b/c of the love they're getting for their spending spree.

And I agree, I think Schiano will be a horrible NFL HC.

Why are people going so emo over the bucs offseason?

If yiu have to be the offseason "winner" it means your team sucked and you almost never see the on the field production that it looked like you would on paper.

I liked what the bucs did in the orfseason, but as a panthers fan i'm nit goig to slit my wrists over it.

In no way do i think there off season moves put them ahead of us

If he didn't have such a stupid contract, I'd trade a future 7th or something for him. If he didn't have the contract baggage, I'd take on his criminal baggage and wait it out if we could give up nothing for him because he really is a top 10 corner. But if's aside, it would be a stupid move in reality for any team to go after him.
