Rumor: Eagles Interested In Trading Up For Fletcher Cox

if they want him so bad how about this...... Our 1st round pick, 2nd round pick and 6th round pick for Asante Samuel, their 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounders... They can move up take Cox or Ingram.. they move up in the 2nd as well and get a late pick. we move back a little in the 1st and 2nd but we pick up a former and potential pro bowl corner and a 3rd round pick... i know his cap hit is high but with our cap space now we can afford it, then we restructure and sign to an extension and it won't be a problem..

We'd have Gamble, Samuel, Hogan and Munnerlyn at CB.. then with the 15th we take BPA.. This is a Great scenario to me.. if only it would happen..

Whatcha'll think?

Rep, dude. I was thinking along these same lines. Just too lazy to figure out a specific trade scenario to acquire Samuel, who by the way, is open to restructuring his contract according to ESPN.

Fairley didn't just have better stats....he domanated football games in a manner Cox didn't. Again, not really debatable.

Cox wasnt impressive his first year in the SEC....same as Fairley.

You aren't answering my question. What are the knocks on Cox? Again, I said you can't look at college production (singularly) and equate that to NFL production. So far, in Fairley's short/injured career, he is a bust.
