1st Round

DT Fletcher Cox 6'4 300

He isnt a run stopping DT, but I think he makes for a pretty darn good interior pass rusher.

2nd Round

DE Vinny Curry 6'3 266

This pick is hard for me to pick as we could go CB, LB, or DE here. Im a firm believer that everything starts upfront in the trenches. You have 3 DE you could draft here. Jones, Curry, and Branch. After watching some tape I think Curry is the best pass rusher NOW out of that group. Curry is slighter undersized but this kid produces! Abused some good OT's at the senior bowl.11 sacks last year was second only to Mercilus.

4th Round

WR Joe Adams 5'11 179

Just recently got on the Adams bandwagon after seeing his highlights! Man this lil guy is electric! Very versatile and would make an wicked punter returner and can also play in the slot.

5th Round

CB Coryell Judie 6'0 194

Really Really don't like the idea of waiting till the 5th to take a CB but shiii happens! Coryell is not a bad player and has some nice upside. Would also be a great ST's player. Has good size and speed and would beat out Capt with little trouble imo.

6th Round

OLB Danny Trevathan 6'0 237

Dude stats and production speak for themselves. Only reason I can think of why this dude is rated so low is his size.

6th Round

DT Akiem Hicks 6'5 320

This dude has a TON of potential. Guy has STEAL written all over him!

7th Round

WR Dale Moss 6'4 215

Another hidden gym / steal of the draft. Just recently picked up football as he was mostly a basketball player. Feel like he has a ton of potential and upside.

UDFA

We need to pick up a OG and one of the good punters not drafted.

Love the Hicks pick.

Hicks and Moss could potential be All Pro. Massive potential with them. Steals late imo

Really loving this draft.

Two of the most prolific pass rushing dlinemen. #1 DT and #2 DE in sacks. Cox and Curry on the same line is jizz worthy.

One of the most prolific punt returners than can also play in the slot and even in the back field ala Sproils.

A new starting CB with nice combination of size, speed, and ball skills.

Arguably one of the best linebackers in the country (stats / career wise)

Two mega sleepers in at DT and WR that I could see potentially being Pro Bowlers.

Not bad Dash I still would go CB in the 2nd but that's just me.

There is ALOT bigger gap in talent between the DE's than the CB's.

We dont lose much if anything by waiting till the later rounds to get a CB. Where as there is a BIG difference between the DE's.

Only way id want CB in the 2nd was if we took a flyer on Jenkins who might not even be there.

Pass rush is the most important facet on defense.

Plus we still dont know what Hogan can do,

Love the first 2 picks. I don't agree with taking 2 WRs, and I don't agree with taking 2 DTs. We have a lot of depth at the DT position, just not quality. I think we take 2 LBs, and a Punter at the end. I don't think there is any way we don't come out of this draft with a Punter.

More than likely any LB in the 6th or 7th will be no good and would prob not even make the team. The only reason i mocked Hicks and Moss is because of the insane upside they have and the value they present in the 6th and 7th rounds.

There is like 4 quality punters and im sure we can get one of them in UDFA.

I think we get a LB in the 4th and 5th rounds, a CB and WR with our 2 6th round picks, and a Punter in the 7th. Rivera said we need to come out of this draft with LB draft. The punter we want may decide he doesnt want to come to Carolina. Drafting him ensures that he doesnt have a choice.

If anything I say / hope we use our 2 6th round picks on LB's. Not having a 3rd is really a pain in the ass.

Joe Adams in the 4th will contribute and make a MUCH bigger impact than any LB taken outside of the 1st round.

And if we wanna get a good pass rushing DE we HAVE to take that in the 1st or 2nd. More likely 2nd because you can come away with a great DT and very good DE by going DT first and DE second. Cant do that by going DE first than DT second.

Which leaves the 5th as the only round to take a decent CB.

Why does everyone have Joe Adams in the 4th? Guys, be realistic, he wont be there. Hes gone in the 3rd, possibly even late 2nd round.

he is projected 3-4 round.

not a stretch at all he would be there in the 4th.

there isnt a high demand for 5'11 WR's....
