Bobcats Vs Hornets, Who Wins!? Does Anyone Still Cheer Hornets?

Below is the Breakdown on the matchup between Hornets and Bobcats that has Hornets favored by -6.5 and climbing (started a -5). One of the few Bobcat wins was against the Hornets, so do they pull off the upset or are they mailing it in? Finally, I was just curious if anyone still cheers for Hornets? They are easy team to get behind because even with CP3 trade that left them without any superstars, they have been in almost every game and only lost two games by 10 or more. They also have recent games against top tier teams where they played great such as home victory over Clippers or almost winning last two games against Lakers on to lose in last 30 seconds!

New Orleans has been one of the best teams in the league to bet on while the Bobcats have been one of the worst. New Orleans doesn’t have a lot of top-end talent but they play good team basketball and they fight hard every night. This is the opposite of the Bobcats, a team that has thrown in the towel on this campaign long ago. We did take the Bobcats last night against a Boston team not known for success in back-to-backs and on its third game in three nights and Charlotte is so bad they managed to blow the cover in the fourth quarter, but this is another great opportunity to go against Charlotte. New Orleans is 5-0 against the spread in their last five games. They are 13-5 in their last 18 on the road and this team continually gets underestimated by the oddsmakers and the general public. The Bobcats got a rare win and cover against this Hornets club here in March, but overall New Orleans has covered in five of the last six meetings and seven of nine overall. The Bobcats are the most untrustworthy team in the league for bettors at home at 9-19 ATS and New Orleans has been great to backers at 18-10 ATS on the road. New Orleans is also a respectable 9-7 ATS in back-to-backs this season while the Bobcats are 6-14 ATS. New Orleans also has played well on the road against sub-.500 teams at 9-5 ATS. Most of all, New Orleans just seems hungry to finish the season strong and the Bobcats just seem to be playing out the string.

Who Dat Pat most of our fans will be cheering the Hornets tonight. You guys are better than us. If we could be you, we would. We wish our Panthers won and had a Super Bowl like your Saints too. We're in your shadow buddy. Have mercy on us.

KT, if you like the Bobcats so much; how come you stopped making game threads for them?

Apparently you don't like the Cats any more than anyone else on this board.

Hornetsfan8789 how many game threads have you made over the years? Ive made hundreds. The truth hurts, Charlotte is pulling for the Hornets tonight and we are in New Orleans shadow. How many Super Bowls we got?

More than I have to considering I'm not the Mod lol.

Since you're so passionate, why don't you make a game thread tonight...

    • This is a wild statement it’s to late to save his season with six games left? That mountain of bad film as a rookie with trash coaching a weak azz line and dismal WRs. Guys that can’t catch on with other teams or guys traded to teams that are subpar at best. We put Bryce in a terrible situation to start his career does that matter to you or you feel he should’ve, as a rookie elevate this dumpster fire. If you’re giving him a fair assessment judge him off the last four games a good o-line decent WRs still not comparable to any other young QB WR room Hou (tank/nico..) Tua (Hill/Waddle) Caleb (Moore/Rome/Allen) let’s see what he can do with a decent structure around him for the next few weeks then let’s revisit how we’re going to grade or assess his performances.
    • As a bit of counterpoint, if he wanted to continue his professional career then handling it like a mature adult was the only option. Dude had been playing like absolute ass and needed to own it. It's great that he did but it's not like he didn't have a large amount of self interest in doing so. Not picking on Bryce specifically here, as this applies to any player or even anyone struggling early in their career. And he still has a long way to go, but signs are positive.
    • I agree he could still develop, but I think that could still be developed in practice. Just after a scary injury like that, I'm nervous to see him get reps in a live game situation when the best possible outcome is nothing more than worsening our draft selection. That said, I'm 100% not a doctor, so if he's clear to play, he wants to play, and there's no potential of aggravating this injury (which by all accounts it doesn't seem that is the case for this type of injury) then go for it, I guess.   But you hit the nail on the head. This draft class is really impressive. I can't remember the last time I was so impressed with a rookie that I'd actually prefer shutting him down. His game is so apparent that he doesn't need to prove anything at this point. Can't remember the last time that happened!
