Josh Norris Not A Fan Of Luke Kuechly

I've been saying it for months...keuchly is a LB who lacks elite qualities that you look for in a LB at top 15. This is Patrick Willis territory and he's not that kind of player and he doesn't have that kind of upside.

Jon Beason drafted 25th by the Carolina Panthers

I don't understand why you like Keuchly so much. He is a solid LB that I would love to have in Panthers uniform, but I do not think that a 4-3 LB with average potential to get to the passer on a team that is not in dire need of a LB is worth the #9 pick of the draft.... CB is a much more premium position, as is DT and DE. And all of these are needs.

It's not about Luke though for me. It is about going BPA specifically on D. Odds favor that pending how the draft goes Luke could be BPA on D at 9.

Simple and plain. If two players are even, go with need. Luke is just a dang good football player. Again, he is a Jon Beason type player coming out. Out of the DTs and CBs projected to be there at 9 no one is comparable IMO in terms of being football players on D. Lot is raw guys, one dimensional guys, and red flag guys.

My ideal player would be a DE. Then a CB. Then OLB/LB. Then a DT. LB isn't my #1 concern

Patrick Willis would have been a top 10 pick in this draft. After the top 5 are off the board....Willis would have been in play.

Willis going 15 in his draft doesn't mean every comparable LB should be at 15. That ignores all the other players that dictate position

Yep.

Pretty sure the NFL knows Luke is going before 26. I mean if you aren't a top 5 in this draft you might be safest staying home.

There was an article on espn last week that said Luke declined invite. It was a glowing article.

I'll happily take Brown being that I am a Carolina fan. However, he needs to bulk up so that he doesn't get abused by other teams tight ends.

uhhhhhhhhh...the dude weighed in at 245 lbs at the combine and you're saying he needs to bulk up?

I agree with him and have been saying this since day one. The guy will get 100+ tackles but will not be a much better player than James Anderson

Fine with me cause it surely beats the hell outta of a player thats is on injured reserved for a backup Luke will definitely be better than. Just sayin
