Josh Norris Not A Fan Of Luke Kuechly

Beason wows you bc be is a solid all around player who goes 100%. Those guys generally don't get lots of hype outside of the teams the play for. They also aren't as common in the NFL IMO as many think.

What was different about Beason coming out vs. Luke?

Also, hard to look at another draft and say a comparable guy went at X and therefore this guy should as well. All the other talent that dictates where guys go is being omitted

Beason is widely regarded as one of the best MLB in the league.... So to say we are the only people to like him doesn't make much sense to me.

If you don't know who he is he does a lot of scouting for Rotoworld.

Kuechly lacks special qualities other than consistency. But, that consistency is solid tackling 3 yards past LOS & good (not great) in cvg

Still think Kuechly fits best in a 43 WLB role. Less blockers straight up, consistent in coverage. Best in downhill. No way top 15 impact

I agree with him and have been saying this since day one. The guy will get 100+ tackles but will not be a much better player than James Anderson. If you need a guy to just track down ball carriers he's just fine. But, if you want more of a impact making plays behind the los and sacks I would much rather try to get Zac Brown in the second round.

I'll happily take Brown being that I am a Carolina fan. However, he needs to bulk up so that he doesn't get abused by other teams tight ends.

That's not really true anymore. I mean they have that TE from Stanford going, along with Randall Reubon (who? exactly...). I remember a few players were invited last time that didn't go for a while.

Nothing like the Brady Quinn fiasco. Dude was having to move his chair so they could run a vacuum cleaner in the green room.

Kuechly not among record 26 players invited to draft:

Sorry if you would look better. It states it's not known wheather he declined to come to NYC for the draft. He probably turned down the invitation like some players do. Since he is predicted to go in the 1st round. I'm sure he was invited. He might have just turned it down and wanted to stay home with his family and enjoy it. I'm sure there will be cameras at his home on the first day of draft to show him celebrating with family and friends after he has been drafted.

I didn't say we are the only ones who like him.

Said guys like him don't get the hype outside of their fanbase they often deserve.

For example, he was voted straight into the Pro Bowl only once thus far into his career.

Guy is overrated and its clear the NFL knows this. There are people hugging this guys nuts but its clear he is going to be drafted in the lower part of the 1st.

Yeah, let's judge players by who the NFL decides to invite to the draft.

Let's also disregard the fact that Kuechly may have declined the invitation.

Yep.

Pretty sure the NFL knows Luke is going before 26. I mean if you aren't a top 5 in this draft you might be safest staying home.

Josh Norris probably is a fan of Cox

I don't understand why you like Keuchly so much. He is a solid LB that I would love to have in Panthers uniform, but I do not think that a 4-3 LB with average potential to get to the passer on a team that is not in dire need of a LB is worth the #9 pick of the draft.... CB is a much more premium position, as is DT and DE. And all of these are needs.
