Halo 4 Is Going To Be F**king Awesome

I think Halo CE is the only one that was worth all the hype (campaign mode, anyway). I like Halo 3's multiplayer over the rest... but that's because of the Forge. Yeah, I know Reach has the Forge, but the multiplayer is so bland that I haven't really put much effort into it.

When Halo 3 came out, I was in Iraq. We put together a LAN with atleast 20-25 consoles. We edited maps and gameplay variants to no end. It got serious, too. I put man cannons in strategic spots on maps that made people fall off the world.... almost came to fisticuffs over that one. Good times.

Halo is some good old school....in college, we had 2x 60 inch tvs set up back to back in our frat house and would play 4x4 halo like it was a job! I was pretty good....I have 3 at home, I will pop it in when I have a chance!

So Halo is getting a new release every year? I liked it better in the beginning.. had to wait 3 years - building hype for the next game.

in all fairness Halo 3 and Reach had 3 years, and this will have had two- plus its a new game developer so I'm not to worried

I won a tournament for Halo CE back in 04 at a sports bar in Charlotte.

Grand prize was $1000. I felt like a huge nerd at the time, but the money was nice.

Y'all need to watch some of the interviews with 343i and a lot of the people covering Halo 4 news coming out on YouTube. This game is going to be nuts. It's going to be a return to the style of Halo CE in a lot of ways but it's going to have a lot of new stuff to make it interesting. Halo 4 is going to be the start of a new 3 part saga. It's going to focus on the chief as a person a lot more and apparently its going to be so much bigger than just the Halos and the forerunners now. Read some of the books and you might get an idea of it all. The books were all really good. Also Cortana has a lifespan it turns out, so that sucks. Watch the terminal videos from Halo CE Anniversary on YouTube. They reveal a lot if you read the two books (The ones authored by the great Greg Bear) that cover the Forerunners. Don't throw Halo 4 to the dogs yet. Let it speak for itself. Look up the Precursors on the Halowiki, they are going to play a part in the story arch of Halo 4, 5, and 6.

And for those of you who can't seem to extricate the sand from your vulvas over the fact Bungie isn't making it anymore, the majority of 343i is former Bungie employees. Shut up.
