Makes me think the player punishment verdict will come soon.

This is just the Panther fan in me indulging the Schadenfreude of the situation but...

Wonder if there is any consideration of punishing Brees. He is clearly a leader on the team and as part of the leadership of the union I would have expected him to toe the company(NFL) line and accept the pay for performance program existed and promise to do his part to make sure it never returns.

The fan in me wants Brees to be suspended for half to a full year that way both us and Brees wins. He only has to play half to no more time in NO and the Taints are crippled for there wrong doing.

Think about this. If the situation were reversed and Beason and co. were doing something like this, do you think there is any way in hell that guys like Gross, Smitty, and Cam wouldn't know at all? I doubt it. Locker rooms are kinda split between offense and defense, but at the end of the day the whole room is usually pretty tight knit.
