Greg Cosell Drops Some Draft Knowledge On Twitter

interesting and insightful that a guy would qualify his mock before publishing it. All should do the same.

the point about players rising and falling is dead on

ranking game film is the purest form of analysis. when projection is entered into the mix everything gets fuzzy.

unfortunately projection must discussed as well. also the personnel and team chemistry factors are huge.

At best, while very interesting and absolutely the most "football-ability related" system of mocking drafts, the Cosell method as described in his tweet is at the very best somewhere between 33 and 50% of the deciding factor.

This is why he has qualified it in detail prior to its release

Niche media is the only real information out there. This is his niche. Very clever.

I get what he's saying but doesn't Kiper have a pretty good track record in his final mock? And I'm not a Kiper fan, just saying...

Also, about Jenkins... didn't a source last year say that Hogan was considered the best man corner in the draft but would be a mid-round pick due to off-field trouble and smaller stature?

Jenkins is making Pac Man Jones look good this year. Dude is just in a downward spiral.
