A Song Of Ice And Fire **spoiler** Thread - Don't Read If You Hate Spoilers

Okay, I know the Game of Thrones thread is really chalked with spoilers anyway, and anyone who has not read the books should not enter it. But I really want to discuss what Huddlers think will happen in the last couple books (if he finishes them). I also want to know if you feel if there will be major changes the show might make to appeal to the audience. GRRM is one of the few authors that embraces book to tv adaptation that would translate better to the screen. So here goes. If you do not want to be spoiled and have yet to read the novels, PLEASE do not read down unless you don't care. Also, feel free to merge/delete if this is deemed an unnecessary thread.

Ok, first off, who that is still alive in the book series, do you want to see die the most? Cersei and The Freys are my picks, but I would be interested to hear your opinions. Also, who do you find untouchable? I'd go with Tyrion - but admit I was surprised when Tywin was killed off. I am interested to find out Jon Snow's fate - but I think he lives.

Next - who do you think dies in the show this year? Obviously Renly won't make it out of the big characters - but do you think they go as far as to show Joffrey's fate this year? Just pondering - any takers? I just want to hear opinions.

I actually want to see Jon die.

I like him as much as anyone else, but I dont like the whole resurrection thing. It is lame as hell. What is the point of writing a story in which no-one can die? If he doesnt kill Jon, then for the rest of the series, everytime someone dies, we will always be looking for one of the red priests to come resurrect them, and that would be horrible writing.

Plus, if he is resurrected, and comes back as Azor Ahai, like everybody and their mother predicts, then I will puke. GRRM is so much more capable then that.

All Hail Jon Stark, The Nights King! (No one seems to agree with me, but I think that this is what will happen)

Resurrecting doesn't actually mean that you can't die. In fact, Dondarrion eventually died, because his body just couldn't be resurrected any more. So, there is definitely a limit on how many times it can happen.

I definitely don't think that Jon Snow will be Azor Ahai. (I think it's going to be Jamie.)
