2nd ROUND: 11(43) – Everette Brown, DE / Fla State

ANALYSIS: Our biggest concern with Brown is his size. You just don’t see many 6-1 players develop into effective 4-3 ends, and at 256 pounds he's going to have some problems anchoring against the run. That being said, he has the explosive first step to turn the corner and possesses excellent closing speed. He's also a fluid pass-rusher who will force offensive tackles to move their feet.

2nd ROUND: 27(59) - Sherrod Martin, CB / Troy

ANALYSIS: Martin possesses excellent size at 6-1 and also has good ball skills and takes precise angles to the ball. However, some tightness in his hips along with inconsistency as an open-field tackler makes us believe this is a slight reach at this point. Martin is more suited to play safety in the NFL.

3RD ROUND: 29(93) - Corvey Irvin, DT / Georgia

ANALYSIS: Irvin lacks ideal starting experience and it shows on tape. He takes too long to locate the ball and he gets caught out of position frequently. The flip side of that is he could make great strides as he gains more experience. There's reason to be believe he will improve based on the progress he made last year.

4th ROUND: 11(111) – Mike Goodson, RB / Texas A&M

ANALYSIS: Goodson is one of the most intriguing midround backs in this year's draft. He shows the ability to stick his foot in the ground and make crisp cuts, and runs with above-average balance. While he doesn't have home-run hitting speed on film he does display a burst to rip off big gains. Goodson brings added value with his ability to be effective in the pass game.

4th ROUND: 28(128) - Tony Fiammetta, FB / Syracuse

ANALYSIS: Best FB in the Draft - Fiammetta is our top-rated fullback due to his versatility. He's an effective lead blocker as well as a reliable receiving target out of the backfield.

5th ROUND: 27(163) - Duke Robinson, OG / Ok

ANALYSIS: Robinson possesses a massive frame and has the ability to engulf defenders when in proper position. While he excels as a run blocker, he needs some refining as a pass blocker in terms of maintaining balance and not overextending.

7th ROUND: 7(216) - Captain Munnerlyn, CB / Univ. of S.C.

ANALYSIS: ST / Kick-Return Potential

I just want everyone to know that Tony is an amazing person wether you know him or not he will deliver! I played with him when I was younger he has a work ethic that is like no other he will pound anyone that steps in front of him and always give 110%! Just know he won't let you guys down and he will respect Hoover for being the fullback he is to learn from and hopefully eventually take that job and help bring the excitement to Carolina! Good luck Tony you put walkersville on the map!

      Yeah I'm not into college as much, so I admit not to having my own opinion about him coming out. But strictly watching ESPN shows, and going off of commentary at the time..It was a lot more 50/50 even on this board than what people like to remember and admit.  Yes many people had doubts and questions, but MANY people also thought he could possibly be the one. I was only versed enough to know that it was between he and CJ, but most pundits made it sound like either way we had a QB of the future, just different skillsets/traits.

      Jonathan Mingo to the Cowboys Cowboys receive: WR Jonathan Mingo, 2025 seventh-round pick Panthers receive: 2025 fourth-round pick  Dallas Cowboys: C Leave it to Jerry Jones to wait until after Dak Prescott is injured to go after another receiver. To be fair, the Dallas Cowboys have a real need for the position. CeeDee Lamb is a superstar, but Jalen Tolbert and Brandin Cooks haven't been the needle movers that the Cowboys were hoping for. Making a trade for a receiver wasn't a bad move, but the player that the Cowboys gave up three rounds of value to acquire is questionable. Jonathan Mingo checked a lot of physical and athletic boxes as the 40th-overall pick in 2023. Unfortunately, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound wideout has struggled to be a productive receiver at the NFL level. Some of that has to do with playing for the Carolina Panthers, but Mingo has seriously lacked efficiency at the position. Mingo has yet to record his first NFL touchdown, catching 55 passes for 539 yards. Per TruMedia, he has just 0.74 yards per route run in his career, which ranks 177th out of 186 receivers with at least 50 targets since the start of the 2023 season.Even though Mingo fills a need, that's a lot of value to give up for a receiver that's struggled so much at the NFL level. The good news is that he still has a couple more years on his rookie deal, so at least the Cowboys are getting a cheap developmental project to learn from a star like Lamb. Carolina Panthers: A Instead of trying to hold onto Mingo, the Panthers took what they could get, and that turned out to be way more than expected. Mingo quickly became expendable thanks to the rapid ascension of rookie receiver Xavier Legette. Along with a larger-than-life personality, Legette has hauled in 26 catches for 244 yards and four touchdowns. Three of those touchdowns have come in the last four games, with Legette becoming more and more of a focal point in Carolina's offense.
