Looks like everything is falling into place for this to happen. Benson bought the hornets from the NBA and assumes $125 million they were in debt. The easiest and fastest way for a team to make money, is to rebrand and rake in tons of money from fans buying all new gear etc. Benson has already publicly stated he wants to rebrand, he really wants the Jazz's name, doubt that will happen but in any case, once he releases the Hornets name, I'm sure MJ will jump all over it.
