We need 2 new starter 1 on Dline 1 in the secondary. You spend 1 of the 1st 2 picks on Offense then we may only get 1. Unless you think we can depend on a 4th rounder to start.

I think this says more about how highly rated the Panthers scouts have some of the WRs in this draft than it does them actively pursuing a certain position. Looks to me Hurney thinks there is a good chance the BPA at 9 and/or 40 could very likely be a WR.

We might.... but the lack of evidence in the last two seasons with LaFell would speak otherwise. Sure the kid's had flashes, but nothing consistant. I would love nothing more than to see him or Gettis break out.

I can see Floyd but Hill right now is a development Project. Dude only caught 23 balls last year. All he has is right now is raw potenial. Hill has atleast 2 years before he makes a impact.

I would love it if we knew for sure what Gettis was in this offense. But I don't mind taking Blackmon or Floyd at 9 if we don't trade down. I'd love it if we traded down and managed to still nab Floyd.

Its not his fault that he only caught 23 balls. That offense isn't exactly WR friendly. Thomas and Calvin are doing just fine. There was lots of doubts whether Thomas would be good and so far he's doing well and could have a HUGE year this season.

Only way we take Hill is if we trade back. Would love this pick up. I think he'll make an impact in this offence as a rookie.

We can improve both. Using a first round pick on a receiver doesn't mean we can't get better on defense too. Building around Rodgers took a couple years before it resulted in playoff success.

I take nothing from this. They are doing their homework like good coaches are supposed to do. But if we take a WR early with our glaring needs and he is another Colbert or Jarrett, I'll be ticked off beyond belief. I'm excited to see LaFell and Gettis personally.

lol, they have one of the worst Ds in the league... Offense wins game, not defense. Used to be defense but after major rules change, offense is the best defense.
