Well you can always call them up and let them know.......It seems like they think getting Smiths future replacement is a top priority and i cant really blame them for that. Im sure they will go D in the second, i hope.

And we will still be in the high 20's in D ranking.

Recently, Atlanta, Baltimore, Tampa, New York, Detroit, and St. Louis took quarterbacks in the first round.

Atlanta, Baltimore, and Detroit used free agency and the top of the draft to surround their signal callers with premium targets.

Tampa, New York, and St. Louis tried to build on defense and let their quarterback play with whatever was available.

The Tampa, New York, and St. Louis plan seems pretty stupid in hindsight. So I hope we put as many good players as possible around Cam early on. I trust Rivera to build an average defense with what's available. Don't make your young QB struggle.

I love how people don't think that we just might already have 1.

True, but the Packers looked like they might have a solid, young second receiver in James Jones, but they spent a pretty high pick on Jordy Nelson and the offense is much better for it. We should try and get a lot of good young players to surround our young quarterback with.

As the offseason has progressed I admit, I like the possible receiver pick the more I think about it.

They also didn't win until there defense became better.
